Join us for Climb Nova Scotia's summer event!
Get ready for a weekend of beautiful coastal climbing, bouldering clinics,
prize giveaways, and much more.
We welcome boulderers of all skill levels, ages
(Youth up to 18 must be accompanied by an adult) and backgrounds.
First timer? Awesome! We will have volunteers to make you feel welcome!.
Seasoned? You know the drill! We can't wait to see you!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Parking and registration is at OCEAN SPRAY B&B (Rod’s place) in West Dover.

All users on the island are expected to leave no trace. For more information, review the following information to learn more.
​We are planning the boat schedule and will have more information coming soon.
Please be respectful of Giz and Rod’s efforts and try to transport everyone in a timely and safe manner.

In the event of rain, the event may be rescheduled for a day later – meaning that boats will leave Sunday morning and return Monday. If CNS decides to reschedule we will notify you via email, on the website and Facebook at noon on Friday.​
What to bring

Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and/or tarp & bivy bag

4L of water per person minimum!

Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat

Eating utensils (plate, bowl, fork, knife, spoon)

Lunches & snacks (CNS will provide supper for everyone on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday – all other food is the responsibility of the individual)

Head lamp and extra batteries

Small first aid kit (bandaids, alcohol wipes, gauze, antibacterial ointment, baby wipes)

Solid, sturdy hiking or approach shoes

Sweater and other warm clothing (hat, extra socks etc)

Swimwear and a towel

Rainwear (if we all bring it, it won’t rain!)

Climbing Gear (shoes, pad, chalk, chalk bag, lucky underwear, magic sending talisman, etc.)

No glass bottles or containers

Dogs are not permitted on the island

You may be photographed or video recorded at this event

Please practice Leave No Trace ethics while on the island. This means pack up all your trash, tape and food scraps and take it off the island with you. Please be respectful of plants and wildlife. Stick to existing trails and watch where you pitch your tent (please stick to the main camping area near the beach and try to pitch your tent in areas that have seen use).
