Revised August 29, 2025
Please be aware that due to the extreme wildfire risk, the province of Nova Scotia implemented a stay out of the woods ban on August 5, 2025. This ban has now been lifted in certain parts of the province, including the greater Halifax area. This means that access is now available for many outdoor climbing areas; however some areas do still fall under this restriction. Please take this ban under advisory if considering any outdoor climbing activities and consult the News Nova Scotia website or other government sources for current advisories and maps noting where the ban is still in place.
