Ice Fest is back and bigger than ever for 2025, now offering the option of two days of ice climbing and winter adventure! Climbers will return to Diligent River (DR) in Parrsboro, one of Nova Scotia’s premier ice climbing locations, for an unforgettable day of climbing, socializing, and winter fun.
This event is a celebration of ice climbing, winter life, and the amazing people and landscapes that make it special. Whether you’re looking to experience ice climbing for the first time or take on more challenging routes, Ice Fest has something for everyone.
Event Schedule & Details
Day 1 (March 1st) - Beginner’s Day
Designed for those new to ice climbing, this day will focus on basic climbing techniques, safety training, and hands-on instruction with experienced climbers. No prior experience required!
